Project Summary

The customer was looking forward to migrate the emails, contacts, calendar, google drive to M365. Post-migration configuring and implementing security policies in the tenant.

Challenge

As the emails were hosted in different platform faced difficulty while analysing the current infrastructure and gathering user information. Recommending correct licenses to the users so that there is no data loss of user’s emails if there is mailbox expansion. Making users understand the new cloud-only environment.

Solution

IFI Tech performed and validated the complete migration of data to the destination tenant through Automated Migration Tool, Mover and SPMT. The team was successful in setting up email-authentication and implementing EOP policies to protect the tenant against spam, malware, and spoofing. With the help of powershell scripting we were able to pre-provision one drive for users, add alias, password reset. Providing support, training and resources to the users for the successful delivery of the project.

They observed improvement in the user’s productivity with the usage of Microsoft Apps (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive etc for collaboration, communication, and storage purpose).
